Dinotica Wiki Hub
Reference pages for the 1.0 roster, modifiers, settlement buildings, and chapter maps — plus where to verify news.
The wiki hub is the encyclopedia half of dinotica.wiki. Guides tell you what to do tonight. These pages tell you what exists. If a Steam news post and a review disagree, this hub prefers the developer’s numbers and then flags the conflict.
Reference shelves
Companions covers how the 50-species roster is organised, which names are confirmed in English, and how 1.0’s nine newcomers were listed in Traditional Chinese press. Totems and Relics stores modifier counts and the handful of items patch notes actually named. Buildings is the settlement catalogue. Maps lists biomes, difficulties, and Endless Mode’s 200 rooms. Fishing is the 1.10 pond loop. Achievements is the 73-row Steam Codex map.
When you need a procedure instead of a list, jump to Getting Started, How to Breed, or Dungeons and Bosses. Rankings live under the Tier List Hub.
Facts this wiki will not contradict
Dinotica is a Steam Windows game by XA Studio, published by Celestial Studio, app 3336520. Early Access began 12 August 2025. Version 1.0 shipped 12 August 2026. It was renamed from Dino Topia after launch to avoid confusion with other works. Co-op includes local split-screen, LAN, Remote Play Together, and online. Steam Deck is Playable. Interface languages on Steam include English, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian; this site skips the last two.
Full Launch Notes and Patch Notes are the changelog shelves. The Review is opinion with sources.
Official and community links
Verify sales, gift-box contests, and hotfixes on the Steam store page. Players gather on the Dinotica Discord and r/Dinotica. A Linktree at linktr.ee/Dinotica collects socials. Older Japanese coverage still points at @_dinotopia; treat that handle as historical until the current account is confirmed in-client.
This wiki is unofficial. We do not republish cheat tables or trainers. Progress is hatcheries, not memory editors.
How to read a reference page
If a name only appears in Traditional Chinese launch articles, we keep the original script and refuse a guess-English. If a totem count disagrees across years, we print both and tell you to trust the live menu. If a building’s throughput was nerfed or buffed in a one-line patch, the buildings page will say “check patch notes” rather than invent a new rate.
Use the Team Builder and Breeding Planner when a reference page makes you want to rearrange a save. Use System Requirements before you blame a biome for a crash.
The encyclopedia grows when developers name things. Until then, empty rows stay empty on purpose.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers drawn from the current 1.0 build.
Is this the official Dinotica wiki?
No. It is a fan site. Confirm news on Steam, Discord, or Reddit.
Where did the name Dino Topia go?
The game was renamed Dinotica after Early Access began, in part to avoid clashing with other titles.
Why are some companion names in Chinese?
Those strings were published in Traditional Chinese launch coverage. We will not invent English nicknames.
